Hey my name is Brittany, I am the founder of Akashic Beauty, the Sacred Healing Salon here in Gisborne.
where I combine hair & beauty services with spiritual healing modalities.

My journey started within the hair & beauty industry, for which I have been apart of since 2012. This is where I discovered my passion for creating beautiful hair, connecting with clients & holding a safe space for people to really indulge in self-care. To see smiles on peoples faces after getting their hair done is so special & a honour!

Since I was a child I've had a strong intuition & have had many spiritual encounters. I've always had a deck of tarot cards & been in touch with my spirituality & psychic abilities. However for many years I hid this, as society didn't really seem to accept it.. Over the course of my career I could feel there was a much deeper soul purpose calling me.
I was so tempted to leave my hairdressing career behind all together, up until 2020 when we were all home & the streets were quiet.
I realised this is it, this is the moment, now my busy hairdressing schedule is taken away I have all the time in the world to go deeper within & heal.
I seezed this opportunity & begun my spiritual studies, learning a variety of things such as Akashic Records, Reiki, Energy Healing & Access Bars.

During this time I asked myself the question, what will my future look like?

I found the answer, a Sacred Healing Salon! A safe space combining hair & beauty services as well as spiritual & healing modalities!
The intentions of Akashic Beauty is to enhancing the blissful impact of self-care & to further integrate long-lasting self-love. To allow for that fresh hair wash feeling to energetically clear your mind & allow you to be in a state of ease.
